Lake Forest Estates is a Covenant Restricted Subdivision.

Since 1973, we have been working to protect our community from excessive growth, inappropriate development, and environmental threats. In conjunction with the Eastern New Orleans Neighborhood Advisory Commission ("ENONAC") consisting of the other New Orleans East Subdivisions, we provide a unified and respected front at City Hall. For more than 48 years, our Board Members have remained committed to protecting the interests of Lake Forest Estates Subdivision by representing only one point of view; namely, the interest of the homeowners in Lake Forest Estates.

Our beautiful Neighborhood consists of 185 homes and parcel lots. Forty-nine of those properties are waterfront properties. Our lake is full of exquisite local varieties of birds, including the Brown Pelican, Snowy Egret and the majestic Bald Eagle. There is also an abundance of local fish species, such as Bass and Perch. With tree-lined streets, well-manicured lawns and landscapes, you can understand why Lake Forest Estates in one of Eastern New Orleans premier and most desired Neighborhoods.
